Henderson House Care Home, based in the popular coastal town of Dalgety Bay, provides exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite Care for up to 60 residents.

We are now looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and professionals, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. This is a varied role where excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills are essential.

What We Offer

  • 40 hours per week, contracted

  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will DoAs the Receptionist, you will provide a warm and professional welcome to everyone entering the home, ensuring a positive first impression. You will handle telephone and email enquiries, support residents and their families with day-to-day queries, and carry out a variety of administrative tasks to assist the Home Manager and wider team. You will also help maintain accurate records, support the organisation of visits and appointments, and ensure the reception area remains professional and inviting at all times.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally in a customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office and general IT systems
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail
