We are pleased to be working with an amazing company with a long standing reputation and who are now seeking a dedicated and reliable team member to join their Warehouse department.

This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Warehouse Assistant Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods from lorries and containers with care.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly labelled and prepared for shipping.
  • Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols
  • Maintain an organised warehouse space, ensuring all items are stored correctly and efficiently.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying that all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate.
  • Training will be given if needed to Operate forklifts safely to move large items around the warehouse as needed.

Skills

  • Ability to engage in heavy lifting, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations including stock management and order fulfilment.
  • Capability to build pallets or stacks of goods securely for transport.
  • Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not essential; training may be provided.
