About the Client

My client, a UK based family run business who have been designing, manufacturing and installing their bespoke product since 1983, are looking for a self-motivated and driven Field Sales Executive to find new business and upkeep their status of market leaders in their industry. Based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire but looking after the country.

This role is suitable for an experienced field salesperson or someone with junior experience if they have the drive to succeed.

The Field Sales Executive will dive into a fast-paced environment where every day brings new opportunities to connect with new business clients and close deals out in the field.

Benefits

Salary: £35k - £55k DOE (This figure includes the commission)

Holidays: 5 weeks (keeping some for Xmas-New Year shut down)

Pension: Statutory pension

Petrol card and/or travel expenses

About the role

The Field Sales Executive will drive sales and revenue by selling the company's products directly to customers in the field. They will be responsible for building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and meeting sales targets.

The Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and engage new potential business clients in your assigned territory via cold calling face to face and managing your own diary
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing sales.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Build your own pipeline and patience to realise that a deal may take 1yr to convert.
  • Following up on warm leads from people have expressed an interest

  • Must be able to use own initiative
  • Hungry to sell and comes with own ideas
  • Self-reliant
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Ability to fit into a friendly, lively office culture
  • Customer service driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with clients.
  • Ability to adapt to different clients.
  • Smart and presentable
  • Experience of the construction industry would be ideal but not essential
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and own car but potentially a car for the right person.
