A Groundworks Sub-contractor based in Bedfordshire are looking for a Groundwork Estimator to join their team

Our client are a privately owned, well established construction company who specialise in all aspects of ground works throughout the south east of England.
Operating out of their Head Office in Bedfordshire, they have sites towards Rugby, out along the Thames Valley, down to Crawley and around North and East London
They have a fantastic team, are growing, and are looking for an experienced Estimator who would like to be part of their growth
They have built up an excellent reputation, with well known construction companies.
They work on a wide range of schemes ranging from £400k – £2m (average project value is £1.5m)
They work for main contractors (mainly), and developers.
The Role - Groundwork Estimator
As an Estimator, you will be tendering for all aspects of groundworks schemes: Concrete, drainage, cut and fills etc.
You will be taking off and pricing SSM standard bills.
Duties will include:
- Produce accurate quotations from drawings and submit tender returns
- Produce tender report
- Attend pre & post contract reviews and client meetings
- Measuring & 'Taking-Off' quantities from drawings
- Sourcing pre-project information and supporting supplier / sub-contractor quotations, agreements & enquiries
The right person: - Groundwork Estimator
You will be an experienced Estimator and will have experience in measuring and pricing ground works.
You will be capable of taking off and providing lump sum prices.
