Orion are partnered with a fabrication business located in Dunstable who are recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Metal Works Finisher to join the team.
Metal Polisher  Responsibilities:
- Polish and finish architectural metalwork components to high standard
- Operating polishing machines, hand tools, and abrasives to achieve finishes (mirror, satin)
- Inspect and prepare metal work surfaces
- Perform other fabrication duties such as cutting, grinding, folding drilling, countersinking, tapping, assembling etc..
- Maintain equipment in work areas
Metal Polisher  Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a metalwork polisher/finisher
- Ideally experience in architectural fabrication
- Knowledge of different metal finishing techniques
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail
