HGV 1 Driver

We are recruiting HGV 1 Drivers for our customer who are based in the Dunstable area.

As a HGV 1 Driver your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Delivering to 4 or 5 stores per shift with a driver’s mate.
• The driver’s mate will take the cages to the stores. You will only be required to assist taking the cages to the end of the vehicle.
• Deliveries will be to stores, retail parks, shopping centres and town centres
• Ensuring the vehicle and load is always safe
• Complying with all Drivers hours and WTD

The ideal candidate will have the following.

• No more than 6 points

PAYE Rates;

• Aveage earnings £1,100 to £1,300 per week
• Plus Overtime after 10 hours at £23.88 per hour (£26.76 inc holiday)

• Any 5 from 7 (must include at least 1 weekend day)

• Shifts are 10 – 12 hours per day
• Guaranteed 10 hours paid per day
