Bar Staff - £10.42p/h minimum plus holiday pay
Talent84 are looking for bar and event staff to work in temporary ongoing roles in and around the North East of England.
What to expect?
Bar and event staff can cover a range of jobs from making and serving drinks to customers, cash and till handling and ID checks. You could also help organize and replace stock while keeping the bar area a clean and tidy environment. The main priority is ensuring guests have a fantastic experience they won't forget.
It is important that bar and event staff are good communicators not only will they be working with colleagues but also liaising with paying customers. They must also be able to operate as part of a team, as they are likely to work alongside chefs, kitchen porters, and management.
Hours can vary, and shifts may be part time. Working at weekends, in the evenings and on public holidays is the norm. We often have different shift options to fit around other commitments you may have.
The work environment is likely to be noisy and can be stressful at busy times, such as events, lunch and evenings.
Beneficial if you have:
- Experience working as a bar tender and have a flair for creativity
- Experience dealing with customers requests in a timely manor
- Reliable, trustworthy and personable characters
- Have good attention to details
- Have a knowledge of using cash registers
- It would be advantageous if you have worked in bars within sporting events previously
- Are able to work under pressure?
