On-Site Bricklayer

DURHAM, NORTH EAST

About Us:We are a reputable construction company known for delivering high-quality projects across residential and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and reliable Bricklayer to join our team on-site.Key Responsibilities: Carrying out bricklaying and masonry tasks on-site, ensuring work is completed to high standards and within deadlines. Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. Laying bricks, blocks, and stone, and working with mortar, concrete, and other construction materials. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.Collaborating with the site team and reporting progress to the site manager.Maintaining a clean and organised work area.Assisting with the installation of scaffolding and other site structures as required.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience as a bricklayer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ in Bricklaying or equivalent). Ability to work efficiently and independently.Strong attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship.Good understanding of building codes and safety regulations.Ability to work well in a team environment. Full PPE and a valid CSCS card (or willing to obtain one).Desirable:Previous experience in residential and commercial bricklaying projects.
