I am looking for a Carpenter to work on behalf of a local Durham based housing association.
The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of carpentry work in domestic properties across the Durham and wider area.
Work will include all aspects of 2nd fix carpentry maintenance from replacing skirting to laying floors and hanging doors as well as liaising with tenants to ensure work is completed right first time.
The Carpenter will receive:
- 17.10 P/H PAYE
- Guaranteed long-term work
The successful candidate will be expected to complete:
- Plastering in properties to a high standard
- 8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
We are really keen in speaking to anyone who has:
- City and Guilds or NVQ in Carpentry or Joinery
- Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience
- Driving license
