About the Role:
As a Registered Manager, you will be pivotal in managing the day-to-day operations of their care homes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation. Your role will involve:
- Leading and supporting their care teams with a focus on trauma-based, person-centred care.
- Overseeing staff recruitment, deployment, and management.
- Ensuring the service meets all regulatory and contractual standards.
- Managing budgets, resources, and ensuring the highest Ofsted inspection ratings.
- Fostering a supportive, positive environment for children and young people.
- Building and maintaining effective partnerships with regulatory bodies and referring authorities.

Your Responsibilities:
- Ensuring high-quality care and compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Directly line managing the care team, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintaining efficient administrative systems for recording and reporting.
- Strategic planning and business development to ensure continuous improvement.
- Managing budgets and ensuring the service operates within financial targets.
- Regular auditing and quality assurance to meet national standards and exceed expectations.
- Leading the induction, supervision, and development of staff to maintain a motivated and qualified team.
- Handling incidents, complaints, and investigations in line with company procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 2 years experience in a position relevant to residential care of children within the last 5 years.
- At least 1 year in a role requiring supervision and management of care staff.
- Attainment of the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or an equivalent qualification.
