Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in waste management or environmental services? We are looking for a Weighbridge Operator to join a busy Waste Transfer Station, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
? Operate the weighbridge, recording accurate data for all incoming and outgoing loads
? Use software systems to log customer details, materials, and vehicle information
? Ensure compliance with Waste Management Legislation and maintain accurate documentation
? Process payments from private customers and maintain financial records
? Conduct routine checks on the weighbridge, reporting and resolving issues as needed
? Provide excellent customer service to drivers, contractors, and visitors
? Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Health & Safety regulations
What Were Looking For:
?? Experience in a similar role (waste management, weighbridge operation, logistics, or administration)
?? Basic IT and record-keeping skills
?? Strong communication and customer service skills
?? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
?? Awareness of Health & Safety standards in a waste transfer or industrial setting
Desirable:
? Environmental Services or Waste Management qualification
? Knowledge of waste legislation and local regulations
