An exciting new opportunity for a Geo Environmental Engineer has opened in Durham. My client is a Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Specialist with over 20 years consultancy experience.

We are looking to hire a Geo Environmental Consultant to help on some exciting new projects that are coming up.

If you enjoy a role that has variety, this role is the one for you. From office to site, you will be covering a range of tasks. My client supports a diverse and inclusive workforce where they promote leadership at all levels. As the Geo Environmental Consultant, you will not only help train others but also receive training for personal development and be supported through to chartership.

Your main responsibilities will include desk studies, phase 1 and 2 report writing (factual and interpretive), soil sampling, borehole logging, risk assessments, site walkovers and producing remediation strategies.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a relevant degree
  • Live within a commutable distance from the Durham office
  • Have good leadership skills
  • Must be able to write interpretative reports
