A Cover Supervisor is required to join a good secondary school in the Durham city area. The Cover Supervisor role will be for ongoing cover work across the school in a range of subjects where all work is set and you just need to help keep the pupils on track and to support them. In this role you will be covering lessons with work set in KS3 and 4 and potentially KS5 for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate would have good presence and a wish to work in schools and with young people. You might be a new graduate considering a Teaching role but wish to gain experience as a Cover Supervisor first. Or you might have been a TA or HLTA or someone with a Post 16, Youth Work or Outdoor Education qualification. Training and mentoring will be provided.

In addition, as a Cover Supervisor, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
