We are currently looking for dedicated and passionate Support Workers to assist children up to the age of 17 years. Your role will be essential in supporting their mental health and behavioural needs, all while creating a caring and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored care and support to children and young people with diverse needs
  • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families
  • Manage and address challenging behaviours with patience and effective strategies
  • Collaborate closely with health-care professionals and multidisciplinary teams to deliver the best outcomes
  • Empower clients to enhance and maintain their independence whenever possible
  • Follow care plans carefully and actively contribute to their regular review and adjustments
  • Transport young people to appointments and various activities as required
  • Complete daily logs, incident reports, and maintain all necessary paperwork accurately
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children by safeguarding them from harm and promoting a secure environment at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Reliable and flexible towards working hours including weekends
  • Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 6-12 months of paid experience in a similar role within the UK is required
  • Experience in managing challenging behaviours is essential
  • A compassionate, patient, and caring nature with a genuine passion for supporting others
  • Strong communication skills
  • A proactive, solution-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
  • A full UK Driver's License is preferred
  • Enhanced DBS check (including child and adult checks) is required
  • Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights
