About the RoleYou'll manage a diverse caseload covering Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings. From initial referral through to court involvement, you’ll play a crucial role in assessing risk, coordinating interventions, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.Your responsibilities will include:? Managing CIN, CP, and PLO caseloads? Undertaking Section 47 enquiries, parenting & risk assessments? Writing court reports and working within the PLO framework? Leading multi-agency care planning and review processes? Building positive relationships with children and families? Collaborating with professionals from police, education, health and legal services?? Who We’re Looking ForYou’ll be:
  • A Qualified Social Worker with a degree or equivalent in Social Work
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Experienced (2+ years) in Child Protection, CIN, or similar front-line roles
  • Confident in conducting assessments and working within legal frameworks
  • Strong in multi-agency collaboration and court work
  • Committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and families
  • Passionate, resilient, and able to build trust with families
