As a key member of our client's healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with alcohol dependency.Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough alcohol assessments for patients.Prepare patients for community alcohol detox.Provide expert advice on alcohol reduction and its effects on the body.Support nonqualified staff in delivering care to alcohol-dependent patients.Liaise with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.Perform general nursing duties as required.Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration (RGN or RMN).
- Experience as a Drug and Alcohol Nurse is essential.
- Prescriber qualification is preferable but not essential.
- Ability to work across a large geographical area within County Durham; access to a car is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
