We are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing team, specializing in the design and integration of security and infrastructure systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about delivering innovative, reliable, and safe solutions in critical environments.
You will work across a range of projects, from concept design to detailed engineering, supporting the delivery of high-quality systems for clients in [e.g., transport, utilities, commercial, or government sectors].
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for security and infrastructure systems (including CCTV, access control, intruder detection, communications, and supporting power systems).
- Produce technical documentation such as single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and system specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and support commissioning activities where required.
Experience required:
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent qualification/experience).
- Proven experience in electrical design within security, infrastructure, or related systems.
- Proficiency with design tools (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and safety.
