Industrial Paint Sprayer

Location:Near Dursley
Hours:7.00am - 4.30pm
Salary:35,000 - 40,000

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join our team. This hands-on role will involve preparing and spraying large vehicles, including HGVs and their component parts to a high standard. You will play an essential part in ensuring the finish and durability of our vehicles meets strict quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including masking, sanding, and cleaning
  • Spray-paint large vehicles and components using a variety of industrial techniques and equipment
  • Apply primers, base coats, and top coats in accordance with specifications
  • Ensure a smooth, even, and professional finish
  • Inspect completed work for quality and make adjustments where necessary
  • Maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment in good working order
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE and correct ventilation practices
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and maintain standards

About You

  • Proven experience in an industrial or automotive paint spraying environment
  • Confident in spraying large vehicles, HGVs, or similarly sized equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes
  • Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, and surface preparation techniques
  • Able to read and understand work instructions, job cards, and technical drawings
  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach to working as part of a team
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
