Salary: Starting from £28,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.

Location: Dursley GL11.

Schedule: Monday - Friday.

About The Role:

The company are seeking an experienced and motivated Welder/Fabricator proficient in both TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding various metal structures and components with precision. This full-time position based in Dursley, Gloucestershire, offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform TIG and MIG welding using mild steel.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and fabrication processes.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and prepare metal components for welding using hand tools, power tools, and cutting machinery.
  • Assemble metal parts and structures by welding, bolting, or riveting, ensuring all measurements are precise.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all welds and fabrications meet industry and company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and achieve project objectives.
  • Maintain a safe and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations and company protocols.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator with strong TIG and MIG welding skills.
  • Knowledge of metalworking techniques and the use of welding and fabrication tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
