We are currently recruiting for Experienced Welder Fabricators to join our well-established client based in East Goscote, Leicester – LE7.

Pay for a Welder Fabricator:

  • £13.50 - £16 per hour depending on experience.

Hours for a Welder Fabricator:

  • Monday -Friday 2pm to 10pm.

Core Responsibilities for a Fabrication Welder:

  • MIG Welding.
  • TIG Welding.
  • Fabricating sheet metal using hand tools.
  • Working on thin gauge metals.
  • Working to engineering drawings.
  • Finishing, fettling and grinding own work.
  • Work safely within technical areas, maintaining excellent housekeeping.
  • Test products and equipment.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Confident using modern welding equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience of welding essential.
  • Able to work on own initiative, independently as well as contributing to the wider team.
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance.
  • Attention to detail and quality focused.
  • Skilled in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Ability to use variety of tools and equipment.
  • Basic maths skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read drawings and recognise welding symbols specicications.
