Reed are working within a practice in the East Grinstead who are looking for an Accounts Senior to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with a practice background, ready to provide comprehensive financial and accounting support.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including FRS102(1A) and FRS105 owner-managed companies, personal tax returns, and business advisory services.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare and review financial statements for a variety of clients.
  • Complete personal and corporate tax returns and review VAT returns.
  • Liaise with clients to provide timely financial information and advice.
  • Work closely with junior team members, offering support and guidance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Provide insightful business advisory services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or QBE equivalent).
  • Experience in a practice setting.
  • Proficiency with the CCH suite of software for accounts, tax, and practice management.
  • Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office is preferable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
