Ready to Advance Your Career with a Refreshing New Opportunity?Are you searching for a supportive, enthusiastic team culture that respects your life beyond the workplace?Do you value flexible working patterns and the option to split your time between the office and home?Would you enjoy partnering with high-net-worth individuals on an engaging and varied client base?A fantastic chance has emerged for a seasoned personal tax specialist to become part of a forward-thinking and collaborative team located in Forest Row, near East Grinstead.About the Role:You’ll be responsible for a wide scope of personal taxation matters, encompassing both routine compliance responsibilities and tailored tax planning. You’ll advise clients on a full spectrum of tax concerns, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax, and also support the efficient management and forward planning of Trusts and Estates.Core Responsibilities:
  • Handling a stimulating portfolio of private clients
  • Preparing complex individual and partnership tax computations and returns
  • Reviewing work produced by junior colleagues
  • Leading the preparation and review of Trust and Estate accounts and corresponding tax documentation
  • Submitting Capital Gains Tax disclosures within the statutory 60-day timeframe
  • Understanding client objectives to deliver precise, high-calibre tax advisory services
  • Addressing new enquiries and assisting with business development initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
  • CTA certification is preferred, though strong practical experience will be highly regarded
  • Applicants with alternative tax or accounting qualifications or significant relevant experience are welcomed
  • Best suited to tax professionals currently operating at a senior or managerial level, looking for the next step in their progression
