Reed Crawley is working exclusively with a key client based in East Grinstead with the recruitment of a Temporary Receptionist. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the opening of the centre each morning.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring a warm welcome, processing payments, and directing them to appropriate services or rooms.
  • Ensure all security procedures are followed, and all visitors are informed about fire evacuation procedures.
  • Establish and maintain excellent communication with all service users and hirers.
  • Assist with minor requests from Centre Users/Hirers and provide refreshments as needed.
  • Prepare rooms for use according to the planned layout.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all centre queries, responding to and effectively communicating these to the appropriate team member.
  • Complete basic administrative tasks, including booking service users/hirers into the calendar and CRM system.
  • Ensure the security of the building upon closing, if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in reception or front-of-house roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to undertake and apply First Aid training.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and handling administrative tasks.
