- Assist senior staff with the preparation of financial statements, tax computations, and audit processes
- Partner with supervisors and directors to tailor strategies for each engagement
- Take part in regular technical sessions designed to boost your knowledge and skills
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with both internal colleagues and external clients
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or AAT qualified with suitable practical experience
- Capable of managing time efficiently and meeting deadlines consistently
- Familiar with preparing accounts under FRS 105, FRS 102 Section 1A, and full FRS 102
- Prior exposure to audit planning or independently handling audit file components
- Up-to-date understanding of accounting and auditing standards
- Analytical thinker with a curious, problem-solving mindset
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
- High level of accuracy and organisational ability
- Proficient with accounting software and general IT systems; training available where necessary
