Financial AccountantJoin our finance team as a Financial Accountant, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is committed to producing accurate financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Day-to-day of the role:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP).
Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with VAT returns and corporation tax filings.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial data.
Monitor and improve internal financial controls and procedures.
Provide financial analysis and commentary to support business performance reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or working towards qualification).
Proven experience in a financial accounting role.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar).
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Experience in a multinational or complex business environment.
Familiarity with audit processes and financial compliance.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
