My client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their thriving business on a part time basis 30- 35 hours.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining financial records including purchases, receipts and payments.
• Recording day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• CIS procedure/ process
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
• Preparation of management accounts
• Processing year end journals
• Processing accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner
• Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits
• Making supplier payments
• Processing year end journals
• Maintaining fixed asset register
• Responsible for petty cash, maintaining daily records of payments and receipts, ensuring that documentation is accurate and meets regulatory requirements.
• To set up and maintain financial files, ensuring they meet General Data Protection Regulations and legal requirements compliance

Qualifications:
• AAT Level and above
• Minimum of 3 years Accounts/Bookkeeping experience
• Minimum 2 years experience using Xero.

30-35 hours per week
Salary £32,500 pro rata based on 39.5 hours weekly
Flexible over 4 or 5 days
