We are working with a respected independent surveying practice who are expanding their team and looking for a motivated surveyor to join them in Eastbourne.
The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you'll work on a diverse mix of projects across residential, commercial and valuation work. No two days will be the same - from defect analysis and residential surveys to contract administration and client liaison. You'll benefit from guidance and support within a small, professional team, while also having the autonomy to manage your own workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out residential surveys and defect analysis
- Assist with building contract administration, from inception through to completion
- Prepare clear, high-quality reports and documentation
- Take ownership of client instructions, ensuring excellent service delivery
- Build strong relationships with clients across a diverse portfolio
About You
- Degree qualified (or equivalent professional experience)
- Ideally 3-5 years' surveying experience
- Strong report writing skills with attention to detail
- Clear and confident communication style
- IT proficient, organised and methodical in your approach
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and keen to develop your skills further
- Professional integrity, honesty and a collaborative attitude
