As the Credit Control Officer, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Manage and monitor customer credit accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and outstanding balances.
- Communicate with clients regarding overdue payments and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to provide regular updates on account statuses.
- Prepare detailed reports on credit control activities for internal review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Support the implementation of strategies to improve cash flow and reduce aged debt.
- Respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
Profile
A successful Credit Control Officer should have:
- Experience in credit control or a related Accounting & Finance role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills to manage accounts effectively.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and internal reporting.
