Assistant Aftersales Manager


About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Aftersales Manager to join our client's successful dealership team. This role supports the Aftersales Manager in the day-to-day running of the service department - helping drive performance, maximise profitability, and ensure customers receive a first-class experience at every visit.


Key Responsibilities
Assist the Aftersales Manager in the efficient daily operation of the service and parts departments.
Supervise and motivate the service advisor and workshop teams to deliver exceptional service levels.
Ensure all work is completed on time, to brand standards, and with maximum efficiency.
Manage job flow, workshop loading, and technician productivity.
Support customer handling - resolving issues quickly and professionally.
Monitor key KPIs including labour sales, parts sales, and CSI scores.
Support warranty processes, invoicing accuracy, and cost control.
Identify training needs and help develop the team's skills and performance.
Step up and deputise for the Aftersales Manager when required.

About You
Proven background in automotive service, workshop control, or assistant management.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Focused on delivering high customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.
Confident working to targets and analysing performance data.
Experience with manufacturer systems and DMS platforms is advantageous.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
