The Role

Passionate about early childhood education and leadership? Join our team as a Deputy Nursery Manager, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursery. We offer flexible childcare for children from 2-5 years old between the hours of 8am & 3:30pm, we are open 5 days a week term-time only. 

Responsibilities within the nursery will encompass overseeing daily operations, supporting staff in delivering high-quality care and education, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for children to thrive in. You'll also contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, as well as assisting with administrative tasks as required.

The ideal Deputy Nursery Manager will possess:

A genuine dedication to nurturing the growth and development of young children Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues Resilience and adaptability in managing diverse situations Availability during nursery operating hours (typically 8am-3:30pm, with variations)

Requirements:

Minimum of Level 3 Qualification in Early Years

Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and registration with the Update Service

Legal right to work in the UK

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
