About the Position:

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a skilled Quality Control/Advances Checker to join our client's team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of products, contributing to our client's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check the quality of all finished books.
  • Identify potential quality issues wherever possible and make repairs where possible.
  • Ensure the information supplied on the Works instruction Ticket is followed.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met so that Advance copies reach the customer on time.
  • Help to deliver any QA initiatives that may be implemented in the future.
  • To perform various duties of a shift production operative, when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • IT literacy (MS outlook, word, excel)
  • Ability to work to high standards under pressure
  • Excellent accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Ability to successfully prioritise workload
  • Ability to organise and schedule own time and activities, monitor progress and stay on top of own workload
