Exciting Opening for an Experienced Legal Secretary – EastbourneRole Summary:An excellent chance has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to become part of a friendly and well-regarded law firm situated in Eastbourne.Key Responsibilities:This role provides the opportunity to work closely with a Partner and two Associate Lawyers in a professional and collaborative environment.
  • Providing high-quality administrative support, including digital dictation and drafting legal correspondence.
  • Handling client communications with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Creating new legal files and ensuring accurate closure and storage.
  • Preparing documentation for court and assisting with compliance relating to Anti-Money Laundering.
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and completing various clerical duties.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Previous experience in a Legal Secretary role, ideally within Private Client law.
  • Good understanding of legal terminology and case management procedures.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and confident with audio transcription.
