Job Title: Early Years Assistant
Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex
Salary: £90 - £115 per day (Depending on experience and qualification level)
Start Date: As soon as possible / September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Term-time
Are you a Childhood Studies graduate or hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and looking to take the next step in your early years career?
GSL Education are recruiting an Early Years Assistant for a nurturing setting in Eastbourne. This is a great opportunity for graduates or Level 2-qualified practitioners looking to gain classroom experience, especially if you're working towards your Level 3.
About the Role:
This full-time, term-time role involves supporting children aged 0–5 with day-to-day routines, play-based learning, and emotional development. You’ll work closely with teachers and key workers to help deliver the EYFS curriculum in a warm, engaging environment.
Key Requirements:
- Level 2 in Childcare or Childhood Studies Degree (or equivalent)
- Passion for early years education and child development
- Some experience with under 5s in a nursery, school, or placement setting
- A positive, caring and proactive attitude
- An up-to-date CV and an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
