OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE

The Onboarding Project Manager is responsible for leading the seamless transition of new clients and sites into operational service.This role ensures that all technical, commercial, and administrative onboarding activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with contractual obligations.

Acting as the central coordinator,the Onboarding Project Manager drives cross-functional collaboration, mitigates risks, and delivers a positive client experience from contract signature to go-live.


PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Onboarding Management
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients and sites.
  • Develop tailored onboarding plans.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal departments, and third-party suppliers.
  • Project Coordination
  • Coordinate technical, commercial, and operational setup activities.
  • Ensure timely installation and commissioning.
  • Track progress against milestones and proactively manage risks and delays.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Facilitate kick-off meetings and regular check-ins with clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering, billing, legal, and customer service teams.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate onboarding documentation and site records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance onboarding efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of onboarding playbooks and best practices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential:

  • Proven experience in project management, client onboarding, or operations - PMP, Prince2, or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience managing and successfully leading teams to deliver results
  • Proficiency in project management tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
