Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) / Support Worker to join our team in delivering high quality care and support to service users. You will assist service users with personal care, daily activities, and emotional support, ensuring their dignity, independence, and overall well-being are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.

  • Assist with mobility and physical activity, including use of mobility aids.

  • Support individuals with eating and drinking, following dietary requirements.

  • Monitor and record observations such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.

  • Help service users with daily tasks and encourage independence where possible.

  • Support with emotional, social, and psychological well-being.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.

  • Report any concerns or changes in health or behaviour to senior staff.

  • Assist with medication under supervision (if trained and authorised).

  • Promote and adhere to safeguarding, dignity, and equality standards.

  • Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
