Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: 13.05 per hour PAYE or 16.74 per hour Umbrella
Work Arrangement: Fully office-based
Job Purpose
Provide essential administrative support to the Joint Community Rehabilitation Service
Act as the first point of contact for incoming communications from staff, health and social care professionals, service users, and other stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Respond to email enquiries, provide telephone cover and message service, process post, photocopy and scan documents
Draft and write emails or letters on behalf of others
Collate information and produce summary reports
Accurately input data into databases and spreadsheets, including processing, retrieving and cleansing data
Liaise with internal and external colleagues and clients, ensuring Council procedures are followed
Maintain and update departmental information and filing systems
Minute, produce and distribute records of routine office meetings
Provide support to individual managers including diary management and travel planning
Arrange and support events and meetings including invites, room bookings, MS Teams setup, agendas and minutes
Support managers in maintaining property, facilities and their security
Essential Skills and Experience
Ability to effectively prioritise a diverse workload to meet deadlines
Accuracy and attention to detail
Effective communication skills, including the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English
Ability to work in a team and maintain connectivity when working remotely
Confidence interacting with new and emerging technologies
Understanding of confidentiality
Resilience and ability to cope with challenging situations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including email and word processing
