This newly created Commercial Accountant role sits at the heart of a growing finance team, supporting strategic decision-making across operations, fleet, and commercial activity. As the business continues to scale, this position offers a blend of financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project support – ideal for someone looking to apply their technical skills in a commercially focused environment with genuine scope for development.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Analysing and presenting investment opportunities and recommendations to the executive team
  • Reviewing repairs, fleet performance and disposals, identifying key risks and opportunities
  • Delivering regular financial updates and presentations to senior leaders
  • Supporting heads of departments with commercial and financial advice
  • Ensuring the accuracy of fleet and stock control data
  • Overseeing utilisation, pricing and rate reviews to drive ROI
What you will need:
  • To be qualified or part-qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Business Partner / Commercial Accountant / Management Accountant / Finance Analyst / Commercial Finance Manager
  • Excellent Excel skills, confident with large data sets and in-depth analysis
  • To be a confident communicator with an inquisitive and analytical mindset
  • Familiarity with Dynamics, Navision, Power BI or similar systems is desirable
