We're Hiring: Finance Officer - Service Charges
Location: EastleighSalary: Up to £27,648 per annum (plus comprehensive benefits)Working hours: 37 hours per week
One of our housing clients is expanding their Service Charge team and is looking for experienced Finance Officers to help manage and administer the rent and service charge process for rental, shared ownership, and leasehold customers. You'll play a key role in improving and integrating their service charge processes into new systems and ways of working.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage rent and service charge data, ensuring accuracy.
- Support the delivery and continuous improvement of service charge processes.
- Assist with the integration of new systems related to rent and service charge activities.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering queries over the phone, in writing, and face-to-face.
- Act as an ambassador for the company, maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work proactively to identify opportunities for process improvements and system integration.'
Experience and Skills:
- Solid understanding of service charges and housing finance.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy in data management.
- Experience in a similar finance or customer service role, ideally within the housing sector.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
- Ability to work proactively, offering suggestions for improving processes and systems.
