Our client is a leading manufacturer in the cables and systems industry, currently seeking to recruit a number of Cable Operators for a minimum 3-month contract due to an increase in production requirements. This role involves various tasks within a fast-paced factory environment, including operating coil winding machines and performing basic stores duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating coil winding machines
- Performing basic stores duties
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Transferring numbers accurately
- Maintaining clear and accurate handwriting
- Applying good hand/eye coordination
- Employing a methodical but efficient approach to tasks
Job Requirements:
- Experience in assembly and production environments
- PC literacy
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility and versatility
- Quality-driven mindset
- Good observation skills
- Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday with hours between 7am and 4.15pm
- 12 hours shift patterns with hours of both 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am on a rotational basis
Pay:
12.21 per hour for the standard day shift
17.42 per hour for the rotating shift pattern
