Job Title: HGV 2 Driver - Parcel Transfer

Our client is a leading logistics provider with an extensive network of depots across the country. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients, ensuring that parcels are transported quickly and safely from depot to depot using our efficient and reliable transport network.
We are now looking for a dedicated HGV 2 Driver to join our team and help us maintain the high standards that our customers rely on.
The Role:
As an HGV 2 Driver, you will be responsible for transferring parcels between various depots within our network. You will be ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Your primary duties will include:
- Operating an HGV 2 vehicle to transport parcels between depots
- Ensuring accurate delivery and collection of parcels, adhering to specified schedules
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition
- Complying with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Completing relevant paperwork, including delivery logs and inspection reports
- Providing excellent customer service where necessary during drop-offs
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) license
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in driving HGV vehicles, ideally within the logistics sector
- Good understanding of road safety and compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- A flexible approach to working hours, including potential weekend work
