Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Contract Manager to oversee maintenance painting contracts within the social housing sector across Hampshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable and growing organisation, managing a range of internal and external painting works for social housing properties. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a solid background in the painting and decorating trade.



About the Role:

As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple planned maintenance painting projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You'll oversee site teams, manage client relationships, and maintain a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of maintenance painting contracts in social housing

  • Supervise site teams and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and compliance

  • Liaise with housing associations, residents, and stakeholders professionally

  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling

  • Ensure all works meet health & safety and regulatory requirements

  • Monitor quality control and resolve any site-related issues



What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Contract Manager (or similar role) in the social housing or maintenance sector

  • Strong knowledge of painting & decorating within planned maintenance contracts

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Experience managing multiple sites and teams

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Relevant trade or construction management qualifications (desirable)
