Lead Performance Test Engineer

What you'll do

  • Analyse business scenarios and performance requirements
  • Design and execute performance test scripts, workload models, and monitoring metrics
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend performance tuning improvements
  • Deliver detailed test reports and actionable insights
  • Champion best practices and testing strategies within a global team

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years' experience in performance testing, software R&D, or systems engineering
  • Strong experience with tools such as K6, LoadRunner, JMeter
  • In-depth knowledge of databases, cloud-based web architectures, and automation
  • Practical skills in C#, Web API testing, Azure and modern test methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and data analysis skills

Desirable extras

  • Exposure to Elasticsearch/Kibana, JavaScript, Git, Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
  • Experience with security or performance non-functional testing
  • Familiarity with Power BI, reporting tools, and advanced data analysis

Location: Southampton. Hampshire. Hybrid. 2 days onsite.
