Bennett and Game are currently working with a leading Freight and specialist Logistics firm based in Eastleigh. They are actively looking for a dynamic and driven freight professional looking for career progression and development to join their team.
Our client offers specialist and complete Supply-chain, Multi-modal Freight and Transport services with UK and International coverage. Our client has multi-million-pound worldwide contracts and offer specialist logistics services in various public and private sector industries.
Our client offer specialist services in all modes of transport so are open to reviewing candidates from Air, Road or Ocean backgrounds as excellent training will be provided within the role.
Freight Coordinator Position Overview- Within this role you will be joining the operations team working along-side Air, Ocean and Road freight professionals.
- You will be dealing with internal and external customers and logistics companies on a daily basis in both UK and International markets so key account management and customer service skills will be essential.
- Your core focus will be to assist in freight operations in planning, invoicing, scheduling, quoting, customs, imports, exports and managing freight movements from start to finish.
- Proven experience working within Air, Ocean or Road Freight operations
- Knowledge of both Import & Export operations - Desirable
- Knowledge of Customs operations - Desirable
- Experience dealing with Dangerous / Hazardous goods - Highly Desirable
- Salary DOE - £28 - 35k (open to both Jr & Snr industry professionals)
