About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
Managing the classroom environment to ensure a safe and productive learning experience for students.
Supporting pupils in understanding lesson content and encouraging engagement and participation.
Following school policies around behaviour management, safeguarding, and assessment.
Liaising with teaching staff to feedback on student progress and classroom activity.

Ideal Candidate:

Confident communicator and enthusiastic about working with secondary-aged students.
Ability to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

Previous experience working with young people in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
