Please note this role will be based full time at our Head Office in Chandlers Ford.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in engaging with existing Draper customers and stockists, focusing on relationship building, identifying sales opportunities, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Working as an Account Manager your role will include:

  • Making outbound calls to generate new business and sales by promoting products and special offers.
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding monthly sales objectives.
  • Answering inbound calls from customers and responding to queries by phone or email.
  • Creating bespoke promotions and offers tailored to each customer’s needs.
  • Maintaining and updating the customer database with any relevant information including contact details, contact names and registered addresses.
  • Working with Internal Sales Manager to generate a customer contact call frequency schedule and plan.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of understanding of the UK tool wholesale industry
  • Previous experience in a telesales or account management role is desirable
  • Good negotiation skills with the ability to identify additional sales opportunities
  • Passion and drive to succeed in a sales environment
  • Polite and professional tone in all communications
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships
  • Develop great relationships across the business and with colleagues
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of MS office and databases
