Prospero Teaching is seeking engaging, resilient, and understanding Tutors to work with young people who are at risk of permanent exclusion (PEX). These learners often face challenges in their education and personal development, and we're looking for individuals who can make a real difference.

As a Tutor, you will:

You will be supporting disengaged learners in:

  • Core subject catch-up (English and Maths)
  • Social development
  • Emotional regulation and strategies to support with emotional well being

Tutoring sessions are typically delivered on a 1:1 basis, either in the student's home, a local community setting, or online, depending on the needs of the learner.

About you:
  • Experience working with young people, especially those with SEMH needs or at risk of exclusion
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A compassionate and patient approach
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with vulnerable learners
