Job Description:
Trident healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at a prestigious private hospital in Eastleigh. This role involves providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care across wards and the dispensary, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards and the dispensary.
- Conduct medication reviews and provide expert advice on the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans.
- Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and maintain proper documentation.
- Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide education and training to healthcare staff on pharmaceutical practices.
- Monitor and manage medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
