This Quality Assurance Technician position is working for a food manufacturer in the Chandlers Ford area. The role offers a Monday to Friday working week, with hours of 9am-5pm. The role is paying 28,000 - 32,000 depending on experience. This is a full time on site role.

The Quality Assurance Technician will ensure product safety, legality, and quality by maintaining HACCP and QMS standards, conducting audits, and managing complaint investigations. They will perform weekly checks, GMP audits, raw material inspections, and oversee calibration schedules. The role involves setting and running taste panels, validating shelf life, approving packaging, and supporting new product trials. They will ensure accurate documentation, support internal audits, and help close out non-conformances. Acting as a key link between the shopfloor and technical team, they will uphold QC standards and compliance while contributing to continuous improvement and customer audit readiness.

You will need:

  • To be adaptable, driven and dedicated
  • A keen interest in quality and food
  • Experience within quality roles is desirable
  • Experience within the food industry is also desirable
  • Supporting qualification such as HACCP Level 2 is also desirable
