Chandlers Ford – £50,000 – £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We are working with a well-established engineering group seeking a Fullstack Developer to play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure software solutions that underpin operational and customer platforms across the business.

This is a senior hands-on position, contributing across both frontend and backend systems, developing customer-facing portals, APIs, and IoT integrations.

The role combines technical depth with collaboration, guiding junior developers and influencing the direction of software architecture and delivery standards across the group.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications across frontend (ReactJS, React Native) and backend (.NET, Azure Functions, APIs)
  • Architect and implement customer portal features including dashboards, mapping, access control, and IoT integrations
  • Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for internal systems and third-party services
  • Drive adoption of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automated deployments
  • Mentor junior developers through code reviews, guidance, and coaching
  • Contribute to architectural discussions, technology roadmaps, and development best practice
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between software solutions and business needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement across the engineering function

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in Fullstack Development with strong capability in backend (.NET, C#) and frontend (ReactJS)
  • Proficient in cloud platforms – Azure preferred
  • Skilled in designing and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs
  • Strong understanding of data modelling and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, ADX or similar)
  • Demonstrable experience with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and automated testing
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, OAuth2 authentication, and role-based access control
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently
  • Confident communicator able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience desirable
  • Familiarity with React Native, Terraform, or IoT technologies (MQTT, Modbus TCP/IP, Azure IoT Hub) is advantageous
