Are you a skilled Vehicle Prepper looking for your next move in a busy and professional body shop environment?

We’re working with a well-established body shop based in Southampton, and they’re currently on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Prepper to join their growing team. If you take pride in delivering high-quality work and preparing vehicles to an exceptional standard, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing vehicles for paintwork, including sanding, masking, and priming
Ensuring surfaces are properly cleaned, filled, and ready for spraying
Identifying and addressing imperfections before painting
Working to agreed deadlines while maintaining a high standard of finish
Following all health and safety procedures in the workshop
Supporting the paint team to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper or similar role in a body shop
Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and materials
Keen attention to detail and a focus on quality
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential

Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
